Then Go to Work!

Come A Little Closer 1999-2005

Photos

Standing Left: Me in 1989, weighing in at 260 lbs.  I gained 100 lbs in six months; pure mother-daughter pain.  I didn’t want to drink alcohol, so I ate.  I lost all the weight one year later and kept it off until 2014, when I gained 30 lbs, weighing 180 lbs. It's important to love all versions of yourself. Standing next to me:  Me in 2023, 145 lbs. Top Row Portraits: 2018 Photo Shoot I was close to coming out of the dark; I had taken off 20 lbs, and then Bam, a ton of bricks sent me into the most profound, darkest depression of my life. But I knew I would come out of that darkness stronger, better, wiser, and free from those who betrayed me. Bottom 2 Rows of  Portraits: 2023 Photo Shoot, God Is Good. Don’t let someone else’s disbelief in you become your disbelief in yourself. Get Back Up, Please!

God carried me through 7 Years of Hell. Below is a list of the surgeries, adversities I went through from 2016 to 2023.  I have included shouts of love for those of you who may be going through a temporary dark season.  I pray that the light of love swiftly escorts you into its extraordinary illumination. Bonnie.
